This platform is a tool for annotating sound tracks prepared within the framework of the SESAMES research program (ANR-18-CE38-0009-01 project), a program that included acoustic data acquisition campaigns conducted by two research teams (UMR 3495 MAP and UMR 7061 PRISM) , on a corpus of comparable buildings (rural chapels).

The tool’s primary objective is to exploit one of the raw data sets acquired in situ, the “soundscapes": these are sound tracks in which the "sounds" heard on site (anthropic or not) are recorded. The tool allows a user to annotate sound tracks interactively, by associating to a segment of the recorded sound track a "type of sound".

A grid of types is proposed, distinguishing between natural and anthropogenic sounds. Other "perceptual" indicators are proposed, allowing the user to report on his perception of the distance to the sound, or the movement of this sound.

This tool is is an exploratory development, which should eventually allow on the one hand to annotate / type the components of a sound track testifying to a soundscape, and on the other hand to build visualizations highlighting patterns within a site or between sites.

Cette plateforme est un outil d’annotation de pistes sonores, en ligne, préparé dans le cadre du programme de recherche SESAMES (projet ANR-18-CE38-0009-01). Ce programme comprend un travail d’acquisition de données sonores sur un corpus d’édifices comparables (chapelles rurales), travail conduit par deux laboratoire de recherche, les UMR MAP et PRISM.

Le développement de cet outil a eu pour premier objectif d’exploiter un des jeux de données brutes acquises in situ, les « fonds d’air » : il s’agit de pistes sonores témoignant de la nature des « sons » (anthropiques ou non) entendus sur place.

L’interface web développé permet plus généralement à un utilisateur d’annoter des pistes sonores interactivement, en associant à un segment de la piste sonore enregistrée un « type de son ». Une grille de types est proposée, distinguant sons naturels et sons anthropiques. D’autres indicateurs « perceptifs » sont proposés, permettant à l’utilisateur de traduire son interprétation de la distance au son, ou du mouvement de ce son.

Il s’agit d’un développement exploratoire, qui doit permettre à terme d’une part d’annoter / typer les composants d’une piste sonore témoignant d’un environnement sonore, et de construire des visualisations mettant en évidence des motifs à l’intérieur d’un site ou entre sites.
